Plot

In August 1945, Marshal Vasilevskiy holds a meeting at the Red Army headquarters to discuss the operation to liberate Manchuria. The offensive is planned in a few days. Vasilevskiy asks about a chemical plant in the suburbs of Harbin. According to intelligence, the Japanese are developing dangerous chemical weapons at this plant, and if it explodes, hundreds of thousands of people will die. Vasilevskiy demands that the plant be liquidated, preventing the explosion of chemical weapons depots.
