I managed to get a copy.
Here , in my view, is an example of first rate historic theatre. Excellent casting, superb sharp, witty script. Throughly enchanting.
Much of the performance is in front of live cameras.
Lee Remick is perfect and Ronald Pickup (Chamberlain in 'The darkest hour') does an excellent job as Randolph Churchill.
Dan O'Herhily plays Leonard Jerome , a smart and entertaining New York businessman and socialite. Taking his family regularly to Paris and Cowes, Isle of WIght, for the annual yacht racing week where Jennie first meets randolph aboard a Royal Navy Destroyer , invited by the Captain for an evening of dance. In case the reader may be unaware, Cowes is close by Osnorne house, the favoured home for the then Queen of England, Victoria.
I took all this from the very first fifteen minutes of the production.
Nothing like it these days. Please try and find it.
