(at around 50 mins) Renée Zellweger's eye color changes during close-ups during the diner scene. It is clear that Zellweger is wearing blue contacts and the one in her left eye had fallen out.
(at around 1h 18 mins) During the rainstorm scene where Emily flees her home to escape Lilith, she runs toward a bus. Emily, who is supposed to be wearing shorts is clearly in a pair of long legged pants in one shot.
(at around 1h 17 mins) When Emily locks herself in the bedroom at night, Lilith tries to break down the door. When she stops, Emily is on the ground next to the closet. When Emily opens the closet, it is daylight outside. As Emily runs out of the house, it is night again.
(at around 21 mins) As the sleeping Lilith is being carried downstairs towards the kitchen by her father, her head and arms are hanging down as he has his left arm under her back. In the next shot as his wife opens the kitchen door, his left arm is now around Lilith, holding her by the arm and her head is up on his chest. Then in the final shot as they move across the kitchen, her head and arms are hanging down again as in the first shot.
(at around 7 mins) At Emily's first visit to the Sullivans, after getting out of her car, she is seen from top window, standing on the walkway. On next shot, she crosses the grass to get to the walkway and then get to the door.
(at around 1h 35 mins) Gasoline will vaporize when pouring over a large surface area, such as the hall and walls. The gasoline vapor should have exploded all around Emily when she ignited the lighter.
(at around 52 mins) The insects attacking Douglas in the bathroom are said and believed to be hornets. However their appearance is black and they look more like flies. Hornets would really be brown-and-yellow striped, with an appearance more akin to that of a wasp. Hornets are a species of wasp. Black hornets (a species of Asian Giant Hornets) do exist, but they grow to be at least two inches long give or take and would not be able to fly out of Doug's ears and nose. But since it's all a hallucination based on his own fears & childhood memories, they don't have to be realistic.
(at around 31 mins) When the cop lets Emily into the house, he hands her the key and tells her to lock up when she leaves; but the door frame is still visibly broken from being kicked in earlier, leaving the door obviously impossible to lock.
