Gravity Zero

It was fun to see Percy Helton perform again. He is the man with the great voice allowing him to play anything from an absent minded professor to a suffering husband. In this offering, he is working on an anti-gravity device, being funded by a university where he lectures. Unfortunately, he is falling into disfavor from the trustees for missing his teaching assignments and not publishing appropriate findings. He is about to lose his funding, but nothing seems to bother him. He also has the support of an old friend, the Dean of the college who is able to look the other way at times. His demonstration is the lifting of what appears to be a heavy disc that sits, suspended in air. He finally manages through manipulating the environment to get the thing to rise to the ceiling. Unfortunately for him, he can't seem to reproduce the results. The rest of the episode is about manipulation of the variables in order to get things to work this way again. Other than Percy being part of the equation, it's a pretty weak effort.
