This is the second episode of the adventures of the Capitaine Benoit ,a military James Bond of sorts , after "deuxième bureau" and before "le capitaine Benoit "; this one is almost propaganda ,for the hero is on a mission in Berlin where the brave froggie effortlessly fools the Teutons.
In spite of a stellar cast ,the film has not aged well ;the first part is full of filler with endless music hall girls shows and a song by Viviane Romance ;the second one is so action-packed that it is hard to follow the plot ; sometimes you can't tell apart the good ones and the baddies ;flat direction does not help .
