Beth has an additional ring once they leave New York.

During the restaurant scene where Tony's fiancee gets upset, the number, arrangement, and contents of the food plates change in almost every shot. Sheriff has food almost instantaneously without having ordered.

[Around 55:00] Beth comes to John's home. She gives him a "ZABARS" bag of food. The door is wide open (we clearly see the outside is red and the inside is green) behind Beth. As John takes the bag, the door is suddenly closed, however no one has closed it.

Sheriff's shirt shows no sign of having a mug of beer splashed on it as he watches the tape.

Long opening series of street scenes, local "color", was obviously filmed in Buddhist Thailand, complete with saffron-robed monks and red-green-gold Thai temples - Malaysia (population has 30 % non-Muslim minorities) doesn't have go-go bars or obvious brothels unlike Thailand).

In the Malay scenes (including when she visits a character in prison), Beth displays an amount of skin it is questionable she would be allowed in a Muslim country as conservative as Malaysia.

Nearly all scenes in the first 14 minutes appear filmed in Thailand and not Malaysia. Even the island coastline is south-west Thailand.
