- TriviaWhile released in other countries, the film was banned in Sweden where a re-edited version with added prologue and epilogue was released as "Aldrig i livet" - the original version remained unreleased until 2009 when both versions were released on DVD.
- Alternate versionsSPOILER: Initially banned in Sweden but opened in Denmark and later on in Italy and got good reviews and was a success. Several scenes were changed before the Swedish release which was re-titled "Aldrig i livet": the strangulation, the drug intake, the female nudity and the ending were all cut, while the murder of the night watchman was shortened. Also, a prologue and epilogue were added, featuring the main cast during the shooting of a military farce - actor Lars Ekborg then falls asleep and dreams the cut film, and later wakes up.
