In 2016, Kino Lorber (a film and video distributor) released two Randolph Scott westerns on Blu-ray, both restored (with a lot of difficulty) to their original 2-color red/green Cinecolor hues. The films are Canadian Pacific (1949) and The Cariboo Trail (1950).
Randolph Scott starred in this film with Bill Williams, the husband of actress Barbara Hale. In 1956 Scott would star with Hale in '7th Cavalry.'
Re-release prints were struck in black-and-white, not in the original Cinecolor.
