The fourth episode put me on the fence as Sheridan portrays the relationship between Landman and his wife and daughter, it's pretty obvious the camera man loves the butt of the daughter because he seems to take pictures of her butt more than her face. The mother portrayed by Ali Larter is trashy and really bad acting. While I realize Sheridan's Lioness portrays strong sexy women they's something about an ex pushing herself the limit of vulgarity, not sexuality, since reportedly she's remarried. Billy Bob and all the other men are casts well. Demi playing the trophy wife has more class that the mother daughter idiot duel. The storylines seem good and the son is doing a great job as an unknown actor.

Now that I'm at 12/15 episode, I'm invested because of the realism of the oil industry and have watched the son's arc - Sheridan needs to drop the wife and daughter - their just a bad example of "dramatic" wives of Texas series (yes, Andy Cohens lucrative series). Gawd she a bad ... the daughter even worst (stick to no talking and just butt shots) but it adds to the sexiness of the show. Billy Bob is his deadpan image cracks me up with how he deals with them both and he DESERVES an Emmy for showing such restraint.

The storyline with the son is saddening as I'm sure it's real ... and that violence found in the drug world. I can't give it a 10 only because the casting is off and storyline burps out of sync.
