Minnesota Timberwolves player Anthony Edwards — currently making headlines for posting his own thoughts on the L.A. Lakers’ Luka Dončić trade (sending Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks) — is launching the sports docuseries “Year Five,” which premieres next week on Edwards’ YouTube channel.

“Year Five” is a collaboration between Edwards’ Three Fifths Media and Brent Montgomery’s Wheelhouse, which first struck a partnership in October. The series will be produced via Wheelhouse Sports, a new division inside Wheelhouse, as well as with branded and original content company Portal A, which has also worked on digital series for Stephen Curry, Carmelo Anthony, Adam Rippon and Odell Beckham Jr.

Jenna recently claimed the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy alongside The Bachelor star Joey Graziadei, as they finished ahead of runner-up pair Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten.

In the show’s finale, viewers saw Jenna and Joey capture a perfect score for their Cha-cha-cha set to Justin Timberlake’s hit, Can’t Stop the Feeling!, and a near-perfect score for their freestyle.

Once DWTS counted the final votes, Jenna won her second season of the eight she’s appeared in.

“Dancing With the Stars” hit a new milestone on Nov. 12, and revealed who was heading to the semifinals for Season 33. The 500th episode opened with pros — including returning favorite Sharna Burgess — for the opening number, “Crazy in Love,” the same opening number from the 2005 series premiere. Many past competitors returned to the ballroom, including Adam Rippon, Ginger Zee, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Alyson Hannigan, Aj McLean and Simone Biles.

This week, each of the remaining six teams performed routines honoring fan-favorite performances from the past.

Johnson appeared in DWTS Season 32, where she tried to guide model Tyson Beckford to the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.

Update: The votes are in and the National Labor Relations Board has confirmed that eight staffers on MTV’s Ridiculousness have voted to join WGA West. There are five days to raise objections, otherwise the unionization will be certified and the team can start bargaining a contract.

August 31: The writers of MTV’s Ridiculousness are coming closer to being unionized.

The show’s writing team, which was behind over 230 episodes last year, has been going through the process to unionize over the last few months, hoping to join their scripted peers, who have been on strike since May, in the WGA.

The writers on the show, which regularly airs for over 100 hours a week on MTV, have now filed their ballots for an election with the National Labor Relations Board (Nlrb) and Deadline understands that a large majority of them have been cast to unionize.

Celebrities participating in season three of Fox’s game show Celebrity Name That Tune will be attempting to raise money for a wide range of charities including Planned Parenthood, PETA, Pups Without Borders, Project Angel Food, and Stand Up to Cancer. The new season kicks off on September 19, 2023, with season three episodes airing on Tuesdays at 8pm Et/Pt on Fox.

Jane Krakowski and Randy Jackson serve as hosts, guiding the celebrities as they put their musical knowledge to the test while vying for $150,000.

As reality competition series go, Fox's Stars on Mars is as simulated as it gets. The show sees 12 celebrities — not the genre's usual B-listers, but legitimate stars including Olympian Adam Rippon, The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Porsha Williams Guobadia, and Vanderpump Rules stalwart Tom Schwartz — embark upon a "Mars isolation experiment" that tests their ability to survive on the red planet. For weeks, they're isolated in a man-made "space station" in the South Australian desert, venturing beyond the safety of their new home only to participate in "missions" assigned by host William Shatner. In keeping with the theme, Shatner, aka "Mission Control," appears in pre-taped segments; he can't even communicate with the group in real time, as there's "a 17-minute delay" between the Mars camp and Earth.

When you need someone to work Mission Control and communicate with a dozen celebrities living on Mars, who better than William Shatner? Star Trek’s iconic Capt. James T.
