Biography

Had a syndicated newspaper column for a few years called "Free Association". The column received Honorable Mention by the National Newspaper Association and won an award for Best Personal Column in his home state of North Dakota.

Started his career as a radio deejay and, at one time, was one of the youngest people in the country to work as Operations Manager at a 100,000 watt station. He accomplished this by "lying about my age".

Was once a contestant on "Jeopardy!", where he came in third.

Is a former stand-up comedian and headlined a number of comedy clubs across America before moving to Los Angeles.
