Giorgio Sciommer(1925-1995)

Giorgio Sciommer began his successful career in haute coiffeur in Rome, Italy. He served as the personal hair stylist for many notables of his time such as: Ingrid Bergman, Elizabeth Taylor, Catherine Spaak to name a few. Many people of International nobility were among his clientele. After the resounding success of his beauty salon in Rome, Italy, he was the featured coiffeur in many fashion shows in Nice, Cannes, Montecarlo, Paris, Milan, London and New York. A man of impeccable taste who distinguished himself not only by his sense of style but his sense of family. An ardent believer in the family as the center of life. He served as a role model to all those who knew him. He has been featured in numerous fashion magazines as well as newspapers. He has been survived by his wife Fausta and their daughter Simona Sciomer as well as his numerous nieces and nephews namely Massimo Zeri, Francesco Zeri, Mark, Andrew and Gregory De Fazio.
