Leading lady of Georgian film. After her debut in Dariko by Siko
Dolidze she became one of the popular female stars. Ironically, the
member of an old Georgian aristocratic family was playing a poor
farmer's daughter (which she did very well, without any experience).
She graduated from Tbilisi State University in 1929.
