Darryl D. Lassiter, filmmaker, musician and writer has been making
music videos for over 20 years - having directed over 100 in Hip-Hop,
R&B, Gospel, Jazz and Rock. He has produced/directed national TV
commercials/TV specials for B.E.T., T.L.C. Network, Black Enterprise
TV, The Word Network and many more. On his first feature project "Pay
The Price" Lassiter wrote, produced, directed, edited and
co-produced the soundtrack. Lassiter has been a musician since age 11,
playing in marching bands, jazz bands and symphony at Alabama State
University. He became only the second person in the school's music
history to win all major awards. Lassiter has completed two books and
written articles for Upscale Magazine, American News Weekly, Atlanta
Daily World and more. His film career began while an apprentice on the
CBS TV hit "In The Heat Of The Night" - 1991. He has produced/directed a dozen short films, ten TV specials and a handful of infomercials. Just announced, Lassiter will co-produce a $30 million project in association with BPI (Big
Picture International) Films. He is also in development on the feature
film "Trust Me" which he will co-write and direct.
