Ascension (上昇 Jōshō) is one of Poison's special attacks, exclusive to the Omega mode in Ultra Street Fighter IV. In Street Fighter V, this move is replaced with Shocking Heel.

Executed by performing a "reverse Shoryuken" motion (back, down and down-back) and pressing kick, Poison performs a kick that launches the opponent into the air. This attack is similar to the kick that Poison performs in her EX Whip of Love, another one of Poison's attacks. The EX version is faster than the other versions and hits twice.
Tactics[]
Ascension can be canceled with a jump in any direction. If the heavy kick button is pressed, the kick will hit as an overhead.
