Hi crafty friends! It's been a minute since I played along with the Freshly Made Sketches. This week's sketch was just the inspiration I needed.

FRINGE TREE AND WINTER SCRIPT DIE SETS

My card uses a few goodies from the latest release by Pretty Pink Posh. I used the Fringe Tree and Winter Script die sets and the background uses the Cascading Snowflakes stencil.

I started my card with a piece of paper from the Snow Days A2 paper pad for the background. I wanted the white shimmer snowflakes to stand out, so I stenciled them on ivory cardstock. I love the shimmering contrast! 💖

I die cut the trees from white cardstock and ink blended them to give them color with a single gold bow at the top. The trunks are die cut from another piece in the Snow Days pad. I love how this turned out!

  Hi everyone! Its November 13th and that means the Spellbinders Club Kits are here and the sign up window for the clubs is open!! Today I'm sharing a card using both the Small Die of the Month and the Stencil of the Month club kits. 

NOVEMBER 2024 SMALL DIE AND STENCIL OF THE MONTH

 Hi crafty friends! I have 2 pretty pink Christmas cards to share using the Timeless Trees collection by Spellbinders. This Christmas collection is designed by Simon Hurley and features 2 3D embossing folders (1 tree bark and 1 pine needles) and 6 die sets. The die sets are amazing and feature a Mantel Village, a variety of trees and ornaments! I have inspiration using 3 of the die sets.

My first card features the Vintage Layered Ornaments die set with some greenery from the Mantel Decorations die set and a single white poinsettia flower from the Holiday Blooms die set. The sentiment at the bottom is from the negative from the "merry Christmas" banner from card 2.

My second card uses the adorable Bottle Brush Trees die set and the Christmas banner from the  Mantel Decorations die set with a few things from the Ornaments sprinkled in (the bow and accent dots were negative pieces from the ornaments).

WHIMSICAL BOTTLE BRUSH TREES AND MANTEL DECORATIONS DIE SETS

 

Both cards use a piece of paper from the Snow Days A2 paper pad for the background along with gold glitter and gold satin cardstock. I used the Perfect Touch Rectangles die set for the white panel on both cards. The mantel greenery and adorable bottle brush trees were die cut from white cardstock and inked green. With the trees, I added touches of Snow-Tex added to the ends.

I love how both turned out!!

 Hi crafty friends! Today I'm sharing a fun pumpkin card using a few new goodies from Waffle Flower. Their fall release is amazing! If you missed my card using their Sunflower die set, you can find it HERE. Check out what I made and scroll down to see the supplies used.

WAFFLE FLOWER PUMPKIN PATCH DIE AND STENCIL SET

 

 I used the Pumpkin Patch die, which is a cover plate that cuts the pumpkins, leaves and squiggles into the cardstock, but not completely out. The coordinating Pumpkin Patch stencil set colors the pumpkins and leaves. There are 2 layers, one for the pumpkins and the second for the stems and leaves. The sentiment is from the Hey Pumpkin die. I like these little sentiment dies, they are so cute and only $4!

I wanted to color my pumpkins with a bit of whimsy so I pulled out the Distress Oxide ink blending cards I keep on hand and chose the colors: Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber and the leaves use Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio.

To add a bit of sparkle I traced the squiggles with my sparkle pen and added some gems. This is flat and can be mailed with a regular stamp. Gotta love that!
