- "You look like my daddy."
- ―Shaeeah, to Rex
Shaeeah Lawquane was a female Twi'lek/Human hybrid who lived during the Clone Wars. She was the daughter of Suu, the adoptive daughter of Cut Lawquane,[2] and the sister of Jek.
Biography[]
During the Battle of Saleucami, the Lawquanes housed the injured Clone Captain Rex, who later helped Cut defend the farm against a group of BX-series droid commandos, which Jek and Shaeeah accidentally activated. As an adult, Lawquane wrote My Stepfather's Face: A Soldier's Secret about her childhood, identifying Cut as a clone trooper deserter.[4]
Personality and traits[]
Shaeeah, along with her brother Jek, followed their father in believing that those who need help should not be turned away. She was not afraid to speak up and ask questions when curious about something.
Behind the scenes[]
Shaeeah was voiced by Nika Futterman, who also voices Asajj Ventress in The Clone Wars television series. The blog Star Wars: The Essential Guide to Warfare Author's Cut mistakenly identifies Lawquane's homeworld as Felucia instead of Saleucami.
