"Puffer Pig" is the twenty-second episode of the webseries Star Wars Galaxy of Creatures. The episode was released on StarWarsKids.com on February 14, 2023, alongside the series' twenty-first episode, "Gundark."[1]
Official description[]
When an elderly puffer pig is frightened by younglings, Aree enlists caretaked [sic] droid Miree to help the creatures get along.[3]
Plot summary[]
Aree and CAM travel to Kyryll's World, which is home to the puffer pig. The puffer pigs are able to detect minerals due to their acute sense of smell. The droids take an elderly puffer pig from a mine for a retirement at the Puffer pig preserve. However, the elderly puffer pig is alarmed by youngling puffer pigs and swells up to an enormous size. Aree seeks help from M1-RE ("Miree"), who has experience working with younglings.
Miree attempts using snacks to help introduce the elderly puffer pig to the younglings. However, the older puffer pug is alarmed by stampede of younings. Aree gives the puffer pigs a doonium crystal, which Miree recognizes as their favorite food. This calms the elderly puffer pig, causing him to deflate and return to normal size. The puffer pig calms down and mingles with the younglings. Aree concludes that the best way to reach a puffer pig is through its nose rather than stomach and heart.
