- "This is the last voyage of the Harbinger. So Let's make it a memorable one."
- ―Luke Skywalker to Han Solo and Leia Organa
The Harbinger was an Imperial I-class Star Destroyer of the Imperial Navy famous for being one of the only Star Destroyers to be hijacked by the Rebel Alliance.
Description[]
The Harbinger was 1,600 meters long, the standard length for an Imperial-class Star Destroyer. As such, it was initially armed with turbolaser batteries, ion cannons, and several tractor beam projectors.[7] Before it was hijacked, the Harbinger was upgraded with the removal of its tractor beam targeting array with a communications tower.[1][2]
History[]
For months after the battle of Yavin, the Star Destroyer was stationed on unknown planet as it carried the TIE fighters.[1]
