The D-wing fighter was a type of starfighter active during the First Order-Resistance War. A modified D-wing was used by the bounty hunter Seleno Chandro.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The D-wing appears in the 2019 saga film Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker.
It was created by Industrial Light & Magic, who at the behest of director J.J. Abrams included thousands of ships in the final sequence. For the fighters, they went through the alphabet for letters that had not yet been used.[2]
