Fresh Season 2023

Fresh Season 2023 is the third season of Splatoon 3, following Drizzle Season and Chill Season 2022. Fresh Season was launched with Version 3.0.0 on March 1st 2023. It was announced via Twitter on 16 February 2023.

Catalog[]

The Catalog of Fresh Season will include: Titles, Tableturf Cards, food and drink tickets and banners. The gear shown in the catalog will only be obtainable by the catalog. Once the season ends, it will be available on the Splatsville shops.

Stages[]

Two new stages were added in this season:

Manta Maria		Ahoy! SRL reporting from aboard the Manta Maria, a returning battle stage that's both seaworthy and worth seeing! The boat's mast, nets, and lifeboats provide deep strategic opportunities, but remember—this is a boat, and you still can't swim.
Um'ami Ruins		SRL back with an "all hands" of our own—we need all SRL teams to help today! First up, exclusive video of a new stage: Um'ami Ruins. It's an ancient site with mysterious artifacts and reliefs, some retaining original colors. Could it have been a prehistoric Turf War battle site?

A new brand called Z+F

Splatfests[]

Deep Cut will expand the Anarchy Splatcast with updates about 10x, 100x, and 333x battles. Teams who have won these battles will be featured on the Splatoon 3 news in-game.

Pools[]

A matchmaking feature that allows people to join a lobby, not limited to friends only, by matching players together who have entered the same keyphrases (such as "Turf War Heroes").

Jukebox[]

A jukebox will be added to the lobby that allows players to choose a song to play for 100 coins. In Private Battles, everyone is able to hear the song.

Tableturf Battle[]

Players will be able to play against other online players in this new feature. It can be accessed in the upstairs lobby where the Tableturf tables are. Players can play with friends or players in their Pool.

New Tableturf cards will also be added based on:

• Deep Cut's boss battle variants in The Return of the Mammalians
• New shop vendors in Inkopolis Plaza
• The new brand Z+F
• All new weapon variants

Salmon Run: Next Wave[]

• The ability to change the player's appearance in Salmon Run Next Wave by redeeming scales to unlock the work suit from Splatoon 2's Salmon Run, and new recolors of it.
• A new King Salmonid, Horrorboros
