The Weeetians^[1] are a species that appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. They are an alien race resembling living suits of armor, hailing from the planet Weeet.

Description[]

Anatomy[]

Weeetians possess a humanoid appearance, with their main distinguishment being the thick armor plating their bodies, the pattern of which varies between different Weeetians. They have four fingers on each hand, and helmet-like heads with red eyes. Weeetians are also incredibly large when compared to Mobians or Overlanders, easily towering over them.^[2][3]

Characteristics and culture[]

Weeetians value scientific study and exploration, which often makes them think of other races as inferior to them. Most Weeetians are also trained to live independently in space, although they have been know to gather in the same place at times. They were also shown to have presumably created several structures on their home planet, Weeet, although the nature of these are unknown.^[1][2][3]

Powers and abilities[]

The armored plating surrounding Weeetian's bodies sustains them in space, and protects them from physical damage.^[2]

History[]

Car-Heem's visit[]

At some point during the First Robotnik War, a Weeetian by the name of Car-Heem visited Mobius with the intention of capturing and observing the inhabitants. Car-heem captured Dr. Robotnik, Snively, and the Knothole Freedom Fighters using his Umbilicus and placed them in an artificial habitat. However, they managed to outsmart him, and he was sucked out the airlock by Robotnik, before being drawn back in by the Freedom Fighters using the Umbilicus, at which he had a change of heart, and returned them to Mobius, promising to only collect non-living things in the future.^[2]

Order from Chaos[]

When A.D.A.M. used the Summoning Spire to gather all the Chaos Emeralds in the universe, all the cyan Chaos Emeralds located on Weeet left the planet, and traveled towards Mobius, much to the surprise of the resident Weeetians.^[3]
