The Trundull is a green motorized Badnik with two white eyes on its front, dual exhaust pipes in its rear, and two flat yellow wheels attached to both its left and right sides. Upon breaking down, the right wheel will shift slightly, revealing the Badnik's gray motor previously hidden behind it.
In Knuckles' Chaotix, Trundulls are only encountered in Techno Tower. In gameplay, they roll back and forth at great velocities, but will curiously expose their engines and come to an absolute halt if the player passes directly over or under them (this will not happen if the partner/second player passes over or under the Badnik). However, a halted Trundull will resume activity once off-screen, returning to its original state. Trundulls can easily be destroyed using any attack, but will not drop a Dark Ring upon destruction.

For unknown reasons, Trundulls will break down if certain individuals pass directly over or under them.
