Stripes is a character that appears in the Sonic Underground television series. He is a tiger who lives in Lake Valley who originally collaborated with Dr. Robotnik to keep the town safe.

Appearance[]

Stripes has primarily a medium-tan shade of fur across the majority of his body, with a lighter tan muzzle and chestnut-brown hair; his hair colour matching the tiger-stripes across his face, neck arms & tail. Stripes also has a greyish-brown feline nose, a small pair of upper fangs and black eyes, though his fangs can't be seen unless up-close and his eyes are generally hidden under his sunglasses most of the time.

Stripes wears a pair of dark blue sunglasses and a matching tunic with a yellow stitch at the bottom of the collar & a red band running along the chest; the band having a yellow rectangle set within it. Atop his tunic, Stripes also wears a white vest that is connected to a light-blue cape via two square yellow buttons. He also wears a yellow belt, a pair of red pants or leggings and brown boots; the boots sharing a similar yellow stitch to his tunic at the tops.

Season one[]

Originally a spy for Doctor Robotnik, Stripes welcomed the Sonic Underground into Lake Valley when they arrived and prepared to hand them over to Robotnik. However, he developed a crush on Sonia the Hedgehog and tried to protect her. After Robotnik betrayed him, and tried to destroy the resort, Stripes was almost roboticized, but was rescued by Sonia. He then joined the Resistance.^[1]
