Radical City (ラジカルシティ[2] Rajikarushiti?) is the second of the five courses in Sonic R. It is a large nighttime city with casino elements and a large amount of buildings.
Description[]
As the name suggests, Radical City features many roads and a highway, although it is best known for its giant Pinball Table. The course hides two Chaos Emeralds. The track is the longest in the game and has the least amount of shortcuts. At first, the track seems like a factory, but slowly shifts gears into a bright Casino.

Overview[]
Sonic Token locations[]
By collecting the five Sonic Tokens hidden around Radical City, the player can unlock the hidden character Tails Doll. Their locations are as follows:
- The first Sonic Token is just past the green Chaos Emerald.
- Take the first left path available, then the first Ring Gate on the left as well. Jump then up to the platform above to reach the Sonic Token.
- From the last Sonic Token, continue down the path and turn right. From there, just follow the path back to the city streets where the Sonic Token is.
- Once on the pinball table, continue forward until the playable character reaches the third tunnel. There, there will be a gap on the right. Hop through it and the Sonic Token will come into view.
- Just before the finish line, go through the 20-Ring Ring Gate.
Chaos Emerald locations[]
Radical City is home to two of the Chaos Emeralds: purple and green. To reach the purple Chaos Emerald, travel to the pinball table and look for a 50-Ring Ring Gate, which has the Emerald behind it. For the green Chaos Emerald, there is a 20-Ring Ring Gate along the coast. By going through that gate, the Chaos Emerald can be found.
