Powerman 5000 is an American industrial metal band who has done work for the Sonic the Hedgehog series.

History[]

Powerman 5000 was founded in 1991. The only consistent member is lead singer Spider One. They are well known for their song "When Worlds Collide", which has been featured in the video games Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw.

Spider One and (now former) guitarist Adam 12 composed, eventually wrote and performed "Almost Dead", the Dark and Pure Dark ending theme for Shadow the Hedgehog.
