Orkym-Ro is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He was an evil Tantaror priest who died after a long illness.

History[]

After dying, his body was placed in a stone coffin for transport to the afterlife. Three of his heretical followers (a jackal, a cat, and a serpent) then took a ship (which became known as the Ghost Ship of Tantaragor) and used the Tantaragor Idol to transport themselves to Mobius in order to collect slaves. They believed that Orkym-Ro had to be buried in a sacred monument, and to build such a monument they would need slaves from Mobius.[1]

The three heretics were later defeated when Ekkletos, the spiritual leader of the Tantaror and enemy of Orkym-Ro, sent Knuckles the Echidna onto the Ghost Ship with the Tantaragor Idol in order to rescue the slaves. However, unbeknownst to Knuckles, he was a mere distraction to give Ekkletos enough time to re-activate the Tantaragor Idol and bring the entire Ghost Ship and all of its passengers back to Tantaragor. Ekkletos revealed that it was forbidden for Tantaror to capture creatures from other worlds, and that the punishment of the three heretics would be "most severe".[2]
