The Octus is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is an octopus-based Badnik variant created by Dr. Ivo Robotnik and is one of his Classic Badniks.
Appearance[]
Based on an octopus, the Octus have a round pink head with large black eyes, screws on its jaw joints, and a large pink snout. Below their head they have a dark green disk with several mechanical tentacles attached, each with a dark green suction cup.
History[]
When Dr. Robotnik challenged the Knothole Freedom Fighters to his Olympic games, Octus fought Sally in the swimming competition and easily won.[1]

- The Octus was modeled after the badnik with the same name from the Genesis video game Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
