Mark Eyles

Mark Eyles was a writer for the UK publication Sonic the Comic. He replaced Nigel Kitching as lead writer on the Tails strip for a while, producing the "Zonerunner" stories among others, and also wrote some Sonic's World strips, for which he created the characters B.A.R.F..

He also wrote several non-Sonic series, including Golden Axe (beginning in Sonic the Comic #1) and Wonder Boy (beginning in Sonic the Comic #2).

He eventually left the strip to focus more on game designing.[1]
