Information in this article is about real-life people, companies, and objects, which do not relate to the in-universe Sonic series.

Mac Yucca Int'l Corp. (or simply known as Mac Yucca) was a company based in China that produced soft toys. Not much is known about the company, but in 1999 Mac Yucca produced officially licensed plushes based on the Sonic the Hedgehog series.[1]

A set of two extra large dolls, including Sonic and Knuckles.

Sometime in 1999, Mac Yucca produced a set of plushes for the Sonic series, with the designs of the plushes being based on the then-recent Sonic Adventure.[2] The set of plushes consisted of Sonic, Tails and Knuckles, and were available in the sizes extra small, small, medium, large, and extra large.[3][4]

Mac Yucca Int'l Corp is a Taiwanese division of the Chinese company "Synfu Creative Products" which also produced sonic merchandise, such as key chains, plushes, etc. Based on the SegaSonic era, Mac Yucca uses the Adventure Era design, based on the Art of "Sonic Adventure"

The plushes are uncommon due to only being produced in Taiwan, but they're unique because of having big feet, and only the medium, large and extra large sized plushes can be posed due to having wires in the limbs.[5] With the support of the comically large shoes, the posable plushes can also stand on their own.

Plushes[]

  • Sonic The Hedgehog (extra small, small, medium, large, extra large)
  • Miles "Tails" Prower (extra small, small, medium, large)
  • Knuckles The Echidna (extra small, medium, large, extra large)

Sonic Adventure (2000)[]

Sometime in the year 2003, the plushes were distributed to the west by Fun4All. This time however, the branding on each plush's paper tag was changed from the Sonic series to Sonic Adventure.[6]

Eventually the plushes were bootlegged, as knock-off versions of Sonic and Tails started showing up online making the real plushes harder to find.[7][8] To tell if it is real, a holographic button will be on the back of the plush. If not, then it's likely to be fake.
