Heart Attack[1] (ハートアタック[2] Hāto Atakku?), also known as Toss Heart,[3] is a move that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is Amy Rose's special attack from the Sonic Drift series.
Description[]
In gameplay, the Heart Attack is an ability exclusive to Amy Rose. It allows her to drop a heart-shaped obstacle on the race tracks while racing after collecting two Rings. If a playable character touches one of these hearts, they will be slowed down and have their control inputs revered temporarily.

In Sonic Drift 2, the hearts deployed by the Heart Attack retain their shape from Sonic Drift, but they use a slight different color palette. To use the Heart Attack in gameplay once the conditions are met, the player must press up on .
Trivia[]
- While the games and Sonic the Hedgehog Encyclo-speed-ia depicts or refers the heart being literally tossed, Amy is in fact shown blowing a kiss, depicted as a pink heart in the Japanese commercial for Sonic Drift.
