The Great Mountains[1] is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. It is a mountain range located on Mobius.
Description[]
The Great Mountains is a great mountain range with forests, rivers and waterfalls. The ruins of an ancient city called Maga are located among its mountain tops.

Season one[]
Intent on getting to Maga to find the Secret Scrolls, the Knothole Freedom Fighters traveled to the Great Mountains in the Freedom Stormer in order to find the ancient city. After reaching Maga, the Freedom Fighters began searching the city for the Secret Scrolls. After finding them, they would fight Dr. Robotnik and his lackeys for possession of the scrolls. Ultimately, the Knothole Freedom Fighters emerged as the victors and escaped the Great Mountains, with Sonic piloting the Freedom Stormer back home.[1]
