The South Ocean, a part of the Great Blue Realm, from Sonic the Hedgehog #260.
The Great Blue Realm is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is an area that encompasses the Northern Oceans on Sonic's World.

For an unknown time, Akhlut the Orca and his Northern Oceans Egg Army have menaced the Great Blue Realm, causing unsettlement amongst its residents. In the South Ocean, Meropis would experiencing trouble when the waters got polluted from the Egg Carrier after it crashed into the sea and Meropis' shields had trouble keeping the contaminated waters out.[1][2]
Shattered World Crisis[]
When the Shattered World Crisis occurred a few months later, the Great Blue Realm was one of the areas affected by this catastrophe, causing Dark Gaia Creatures to infect the seas at night.[1][3]
