Eggman finds Pickle

Dr. Eggman discovers Prof. Pickle via the Eggnet, from Sonic the Hedgehog #257.

The Eggnet is a subject that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a global communications network used by the Eggman Empire to keep in touch with its various territories across Sonic's World.

History[]

Shattered World Crisis[]

Note: From the readers point of view, this picks up from where the Eggnet's original timeline ended.

Right before the Shattered World Crisis, Sally manages to steal access codes to the Eggnet, allowing the Freedom Fighters to check Eggman's databases for clues to Chaos Emerald locations and other important information.

At the dawn of the Shattered World Crisis, it was via the Eggnet that Dr. Eggman discovered the damage he had caused to the reality of Sonic's World by disrupting Super Sonic's attempt to reverse the Super Genesis Wave's effects.[1] Nicole also compared Eggnet data with GUN data and other networks a few minutes after the planet shattered to conclusively determine that the shattering of the planet had caused global chaos.

Not very long after the Shattered World Crisis began, Dr. Eggman learned of Professor Pickle and his occupation via the Eggnet.[2]

The Freedom Fighters would also end up using Eggnet data to steal a Chaos Emerald from a mine that the Egg Army forces of Cassia and Clove were mining at the time. The resulting escapade would get Eggman to set a trap for the Freedom Fighters by uploading data on the location of a Chaos Emerald, while not uploading the fact that three E100 units were also sent there. The resulting fight would nearly kill some of the Freedom Fighters, and lead them to stop trying to use the Eggnet to find information
