The Egg Booster[2] (エッグブースター Eggu Būsutā?) is a vehicle that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is Dr. Eggman's personal racing vehicle for participation in Dodon Pa's Grand Prix.
Description[]
The default Egg Booster, in its simplicity, is a modified Egg Mobile (though smaller than most of his other incarnations of the vehicle) with two exhaust pipes on its back and pointed rear wings, with the Egg Mobile and the pipes in question being connected to two red fenders with a pair of black wheels each.
Like other cars in Team Sonic Racing, its appearance can be customized with different paint jobs, Performance Parts and decals. Its horn can also be changed.

In Team Sonic Racing, the Egg Booster appears as Dr. Eggman's race car, created specifically by Dr. Eggman for himself to participate in Dodon Pa's Grand Prix competition. The Egg Booster's ultimate fate after the crash of the Final Fortress, which destroyed all the other race cars, is unknown however.
Eggman's prior Egg Typhoon and Egg Monster often had high top speed and handling with lackluster acceleration, though the latter's case has had decent boost as well. Instead however, the Egg Booster's basic statistics focus on having high base acceleration, but with more of a moderate boost, defense and top speed stat while still having good penchant for handling; this setup curiously is mirrored with the base stats of the Chao Pod. However, its statistics, as well as its artistic design, can be modified by replacing its parts.
