Coconut Hurl is an activity that appears in the Sonic Boom series. It is a game that Team Sonic plays for fun on Seaside Island.^[1]

Description[]

Coconut Hurl is a physical game where one from a pair of players must throw their teammate into a nearby coconut tree to knock down its coconuts. The number of coconuts knocked down is proportional to the player's score.

Pairs can either play alone for a better high score or compete against others. If two pairs play against each other, the pair to knock down the most coconuts wins. The teammate can be thrown by his/her partner using their own strength or equipment, like a catapult. If a player is unable to throw their teammate, it is a penalty.^[1]

Season one[]

Sonic and Knuckles were playing Coconut Hurl against themselves while their team watched when Dr. Eggman and Cowbot arrived. Later, while waiting for the moment to stop a rogue Cowbot, Sonic, Tails, and Eggman passed the time with Coconut Hurl, although Sonic needed a catapult to throw Eggman.^[1]
