AiAi[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He was one of the many racers who took part in an interdimensional racing competition.

History[]

Racing for the Stars[]

AiAi was invited to take part in the racing grand prix. Excited for the races to begin, AiAi noticed that Beat's original vehicle was absent, which the latter explained as freedom of expression. Dr. Eggman then suddenly arrived, much to the racers' dissatisfaction. Eggman delightedly declared that he planned on rewarding himself for winning the races with the conquest of every racer's world, adding that Sonic was absent. Tails told Sonic that Eggman had plans to take over all of the racers' worlds including AiAi's, which Eggman had plans of conquering his world and taking Jungle Islands' banana horde for a lifetime supply of smoothies.[1]

The race soon began and Eggman pushed Tails and AiAi off-course, claiming it was an accident. Sonic proceeded to order the racers to take on Eggman by racing hard, fast, and together, to which they complied. AiAi tried slowing Eggman down by driving in front of him, which caused the doctor to fire another barrage of missiles. Eggman proceeded to taunt Sonic, but the hedgehog quickly caught up, followed by AiAi and everyone else attacking the doctor's vehicle. A defeated Eggman soon after flew off, and Sonic congratulated AiAi and the other racers on their performance. But unfortunately, no one explicitly saw who crossed the finish line first, so, AiAi and the other racers settled it by racing some more.[1]
