The Very Last Post!

Hi everyone, Sal here! I'm the one who creates all of the digital stamps for SLS Lines :)

I'm sad to say that we're no longer hosting any new challenges on this blog or sponsoring any further challenges for other blog teams. I may occasionally create a new digital stamp now and then, but there won't be any regular releases from here on in. I do have 150 stamps still available in my stores, lots of quirky and weird, and those will always be available.

I'd love to keep going and creating more images but I'll be blunt  - it costs me money. For real. I gave away far more stamps to teams and challenges than I ever sold. I'm sure the same is true for many other digital stamp sellers too. There are many blogs and challenge teams asking for free images for challenges or for prizes and not a lot of buyers left over. I get that it's fun to create new paper projects and share them with the world. I do understand that. But designers need to get paid for their efforts too. It's a hard balance to strike and I disliked saying no because I get it - creating is fun! :)

Many heartfelt thanks to Sharon, Maureen, Anne Lise and the rest of the design team. You guys have always been awesome and I love what you do with the images. You are creative geniuses!

A special thanks to those of you who have supported my efforts and created beautiful projects over the years. Happy creating everyone!

Wise owl by Titbelsoeur

Hi there ! Titbelsoeur here today,

This Wise Owl you will easily buy on Sal's site here : https://www.slslines.com/
I have colored it with pencils, then glued it on to a book page that I had lightly colored with acrylic paint, then stamped to look like trees.

I stamped the mushrooms I have designed as a wink at the bottom of the page.

Hi SLS Fans!!

I was supposed to share a new creation at the start of today but have had some "hiccups" this week - starting with being involved in an accident with our truck (not our fault!!) and then extreme weather and no power yesterday and last night (Australia time)!!!!!

Sooooooo I decided to pop up a quick post of some of my most fav creation since I have been on the SLS Lines DT to inspire you to pop over to the store and grab some digis for yourself plus Sal has the most amazing clip art digi kits too - something for everyone!!

GREAT digis for all occasions!!!

One more Lounging Queen in a Chair

I have once again used Lounging Queen in a Chair
When colouring the first one I started on this in purple and orange
just to have fun with some people.
Then I started to think that maybe I should finish colour
and make a project out of it.
Well, here it is.

Zombie Walker

Hi Susan R here!

Sal has drawn lots of super images for September.
I have decided to use three of them on ATCs and this post shows you the third...

This image is Zombie Walker.

I coloured it with Promarkers and cut it out.
I then added it to an ATC to go in my Autumnal/Spidery Mini Journal
 - for more details please take a look on my blog!

Enjoy the Gifts of Nature

I love this image from SLS Lines called Fantasy Fox Shaman Medicine Woman and decided to make a art journal page using it.  I think Sal created a very stunning image.

I coloured the medicine woman with PanPastels and Copic Markers. The background of the art journal page was painted, stamped and stenciled.  The top of the page is a gelli print which I used packing tape to remove the design from the gelli plate and I also added some feathers.  The sentiment is by  Inkadinkado which has been in my collection of rubber for a very long time.

Be sure to check out the stamps at SLS Lines as Sal will be discontinuing her stamps soon.  We are sorry to see her go, so be sure to grab the stamps you love from her store before they are gone forever. The store has a great selection of images for all of your crafting needs.

Thank you for stopping by and have a very creative day.
