Private school
school type not administered by local, state or national governments
(Redirected from Private college)
A private school (also known as independent school or nonstate schools[1]) is a school that is not owned by a government. These schools decide which students to admit. They get their money in whole or in part from the school fees that students pay to attend, instead of from taxes. Private schools are often more expensive than other schools.[2]
In the United Kingdom, private schools are usually called public schools.
