The template can be used with one, two or no parameters as follows:

- {{Wikivoyage-inline|Boracay}} creates a link to the Wikivoyage page titled "Boracay".
- {{Wikivoyage-inline|Boracay|Boracay Island}} creates a link to the Wikivoyage page titled "Boracay", but the link is worded "Boracay Island".
