Hello and welcome to our next challenge here at Seize the Birthday.  I think the topping that was selected by Vicki is an easy one that you are really going to love.  I'm certain, that if you are anything like me, you have at LEAST a handful of these in your stash of supplies, but if you don't have any you can always make your own with a die-cut or two!   

    Our "Topping" option this time is...

If you're not a toppings kinda person, well...you can just
stick with our usual "Anything Goes" Birthday!

Welcome to another challenge here at Seize the Birthday! Before we get to our next topping, it's time to welcome our newest Surprise Party Guest that will be with us for the months of May and June.  

I would like to give a warm welcome to...

 Lorraine Aquilina!

Here is a bit about her:

Hi, I'm Lorraine, aka Lols, a Midwife by profession and Design Team Leader for Simon Says Stamp. I have always enjoyed all sorts of crafts but once I was introduced to cardmaking, approx 14 years ago, I was hooked. I am originally from the north of England but now live in Gozo, Malta with my husband. I have 2 children, a son who lives in Holland and a daughter who lives in Scotland. I am Membership Secretary for the local Gozo SPCA and am an active helper/fundraiser for the charity. 

I am thrilled to have been invited to the Seize The Birthday Party as a Surprise Guest and am looking forward to sharing my birthday projects for the next 2 months!

 Thanks to everyone who participated in our last challenge.  We had some truly fabulous cards using our topping of "Butterflies and Hummingbirds" along with traditional "Anything Goes" as long as it's Birthday related cards. Always remember, you don't have to use our topping to be selected as a Challenge Winner or one of the Birthday Honours.  

There were so many cards that caught my attention the past two weeks that I spent way too long deliberating. I even polled the team as I just couldn't make up my mind.  It made it especially hard as so many of you used the topping this time around.
