Seize the Birthday #221-By the Sea

Hello and Welcome to our next challenge here at Seize the Birthday!  Before we get to our topping, I have some exciting news to share!  We have a new Design Team member joining our team and I am sure most of you will probably know who she is, as she has been an active participant here at STB for many years.  Please help us in welcoming Julie Peddicord to the STB team!

Here is a bit about her! 

Hello everyone! I'm Julie (aka Jules). A little about me -- I was born in the Midwest but have called Florida my home for almost forty years. In addition to being Mom to two grown children, I'm Grandma to one and Fur Mom to four. My husband is an extremely patient and supportive man because let's face it, sometimes life is a zoo. My two favorite pastimes include card making and reading, both of which I try to do a little of each day. I've been an active participant at Seize the Birthday since discovering the challenge in July of 2019 and am thrilled to now be part of the team!

I created 2 Birthday cards using some fun Altenew Stamp Sets. 



This card features the sets Rosie Posy and Mega Greetings 4.  I just love the font on the word HOPE! I also think these roses look awesome in white. 



This second card uses Mega Greeting 4 also and Delicate Primrose. I did a bit of paper piecing on this one and it didn't photograph as well as I would have liked.

Seize the Birthday # 220-Stripes

Here is a bit about her!
Hi, It’s Jenny here from Melbourne, Australia. Like all of us, I’m addicted to card-making. I started stamping about 20 years ago when I designed Wedding Anniversary invites for my Parents. Then, I discovered card challenges, started my blog, and found the wonderful online papercraft community and have been hooked ever since. I am currently on 5 DTs and have another regular GDT with a stamp company. This has kept me busy and motivated throughout the long Lockdowns!
