Rochelle said this about her layout:

"For this layout, I used four photos from the sketch on the left and added a piece of paper at a slant from the sketch on the right. I also took inspiration from the half circle (sketch on left) and added a piece of yellow paper under the bottom right photo. For the stash item, I added rhinestones around the page."

Michelle said this about her layout:
"Hey everyone. Here’s my take on our new blend a sketch challenge. I will have to admit I had some trouble with this and it came out totally different than I had originally planned. I used the layout of the second sketch, and the dotted semicircle on the first sketch inspired me to add the ornament banners. You just never know what parts of a sketch will inspire you. For the rhinestone part of the challenge, I scattered some around the flower clusters. I just love these photos of my grandson meeting Santa. He wasn’t scared at all and even pulled his beard!! Thanks for stopping by and I can’t wait to see how this new challenge inspires you!!"

Today, Designer Michelle H. shares her lovely layout with us inspired by the
Blend a Sketch Challenge:

"I found this a bit of a challenge to be honest - but then again, they're supposed to be! It'll get easier the more you do, I promise
From the first sketch I used the idea of a semi circle (the shape of the flower garland) with the title around it, and from the second sketch I used the larger square (photo) and 3 smaller ones (the banner). I also used flower rhinestones between the banner flags, and in each corner.

Good Morning!

Today's inspiration is from designer Sherri!
Here's her fun layout inspired by the
Blend a Sketch Challenge:

"I LOVE our new Blend-a-Sketch Challenge here at the

Scrap Our Stash Blog - It is so much FUN!! To "blend" the sketches - I decided to flip the layout on the right on it’s side - and use that layout's basic design elements, including the triangle, 3 photos and the added element on top of the middle photo. From the layout on the right, I used the journaling space idea, and made a "sort of" half twisty circle with yarn, around the photos.
I also included RHINESTONES (don't forget!)
This is a layout showcasing our new "Grand-Kitty" Sam!
He is super sweet, and puts up with our 2 dogs when he comes to visit. He is the most adorable kitten, and has the sweetest face!
I hope you get a chance to get creative with us this month, and try out this new challenge!

"Are you ready for this new challenge? Me too! I love sketches so picking elements to blend together ended up being another fun way to use them. I picked the round design with title and combined it with the 3 photos across and then added some fun decorative elements in place of the square photo spot up front. Don't forget your rhinestones! I almost did, but there's always room for a little sparkle. So I added a few up top on one my hearts and in the light on the little xmas tree in the middle. I hope you have as much fun with this challenge as I did. "

"Hi Scrappy friends! Happy New Year!

The NEW SOS Challenge format for January was so much fun - I hope you will play along with us!

I created a Winter Themed Layout, and I used the word Winter in my title, and I added journaling and doodling with a White Ink gel pen for the added challenge too.

I used these frosty winter photos of our oldest son playing with our then 2 yr old Portuguese Water Dog Tino! I think Tino is also a Portuguese "Snow" Dog too - as he loves to play in, eat and snort the white stuff!

This year for our stash challenge inspiration, we have chosen poster boards from movies that were either nominated and/or won a Golden Globe Award in the past years.

AND...we have included a requirement with each challenge to use a pre-selected item from your stash.

Welcome to the reveal of our

January Golden Globe Stash Challenge!

THE CHALLENGE

Create a winter themed layout OR use the word winter in your title.

AND.... you must add either white ink/paint splashes, snow or white sequins to you layout.
