We woke up to bright sunny skies with a 20 deg F temperature this morning and

this is what I saw when looking out the window. We had some high winds

and large waves crashing ashore this week. Here is the ice sculpture Mother Nature created.

Spring has arrived but Old Man Winter will not give up..brrr!  It's a bright sunny day as I schedule this post but man does the lake look wild with strong icy winds causing white caps.  

I can hear the waves crashing ashore...makes me want to stay indoors today.

This cold snap is making me think of Christmas and that's just what the theme this week is at 

where our lovely Helen is hosting.

I've coloured with Copics a new (for me) image from Mo's Digital Pencil called "Santa's Helper" 

This little guy was so much fun to colour..just look at that little face...so darn cute.

I die cute MB Merry Christmas die in black,  glued it to green paper and

fussy cut around it for background, then made a green silk bow.

Brought out my sewing machine to sew the outside frame.

Hope all is well and that you are enjoying the snow.  March is definitely coming in like a lion.

We had some warm days the beginning of the week but now it's back to winter again....brrr.

Today starts a new challenge at Winter Wonderland where I am happy to be the host.  

I've chosen the theme "Stitching, Real or Faux".  

This is one of my favourite looks for a card.  I have no skills when it comes to sewing

 but have managed to get the hang of doing an almost straight line on my cards.  

I've coloured with Copics and paper pieced this little cutie from our wonderful sponsor, 

Little Claire Design. 

 He is called "Christmas Scottie with Bauble and can be found here.

The design paper is G45, gold foil from Michaels and my seam binding

ribbon is from Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  Gold Wink of Stella added to the baubles.
