Sugar Nellie "Winter Wonders" Blog Hop

Good Morning All!

Exciting times at Sugar Towers today!  We have a brand new Winter Wonders release!

The new images are available at Funky Kits right now!

So, we are having a blog hop to celebrate this release and there are prizes on offer!!   We are using both the new images and some older Sugar Nellie Christmas images.

Now you should have arrived here from my gorgeous teamie Susan, if not head on back to the Sugar Nellie blog to start the hop there.  OK here is my card:

For my card I have used an older image and this one is "Wish Upon a Star".  I do love this image and have used it a few times!  I coloured her with copics and polychromos.  The paper is some old Kanban Christmas paper and I have used my Die-namics "Let it Snowflake" die and Lil'Inkers Stitched Rectangle.  The pearls, silver book corner and rhinestone sparkler are from the Hobby House.

Now you need to hop on over to the very talented Mina.

Remember to leave comments on each DT blog for a chance to win a prize!  And if you get lost on the way head back to the Sugar Nellie blog!

Have fun!

Christmas Tin

Good Morning Everyone

Its a lovely sunny, blue sky this morning as I sit and look out my window.  Always makes you feel better!  Well after a very stressful week we finally exchanged contracts on the house last night.  I can now start to get excited about the new house!

I wanted to share a project I made for the Hobby House show on Create and Craft a couple of weeks ago.  (It was actually featured on the show!!)  My other half was given a tin of handmade cookies for his birthday and I saved the tin they came in and altered it into a Christmas tin for chocolates or gifts.

It was very tricky to photograph but you get the idea!  The chocolates went in afterwards!

The papers are Echo Park - Merry Christmas collection.  The dies are Doo Hickey's Leaf and Swirl and my Grand Nesties Scalloped Circles.  The rest of the products used are from the Hobby House and are listed below:

Mo Manning Christmas Fairies - Pre-coloured Topper;

Remember the Christmas challenge on the Hobby House challenge blog if you want to join in!

I would like to enter this into the Red & Green Challenge at Winter Wonderland.

Well that's it from me today.  Have a great day and I will see you soon.

Buttons and Bows at Pollycraft!

Hi Ladies

Super quick post from me today.  Life is a bit stressful at the moment, am waiting to exchange contracts on our house and it was supposed to happen on Monday!  It is now planned for today so please keep your fingers crossed for me!

So today is a brand new challenge at Pollycraft (where did those last two weeks go!) and our theme this week is:

"Buttons and Bows"

I have used an image from the "Classic Cave" and she is called "Cherry Kisses Warm Christmas":

For some reason I only took one photo!  She is coloured with copics and the paper is free from a magazine some time ago.  I have used ribbon and rhinestone sparklers from the Hobby House and the die is Die-namics Let it Snowflake.  My colouring is rubbish on this card but I had run out of time to redo it and I guess you have to share the good and the bad!  I do love these older images!

I hope you can join in this fortnight.  Please pop on over to the challenge blog for some fabulous inspiration.

Told you it would be a quick one!  Have a great day and see you again soon.

Love and Hugs

Christmas at The Hobby House!

Good Morning Everyone!

I am back today with my project for the new challenge at The Hobby House (can't believe a month has passed already!)  We had some really beautiful entries for our vintage challenge!  Pop on over to the challenge blog to see if you were a winner.

So onto my project for this month:

It was quite difficult to photograph this!  Its a hanging Christmas "bauble" and its the same both sides so whatever angle you see it, it will look nice!  The image is a Mo Manning pre-coloured topper called Christmas Fairies.  I added some glamour dust to the image and used my Lil Inker Circles Stitched die cut.  The papers were free from a magazine some time ago.  I made up the layers with Grand Scalloped Circles and Grand Circles.  Here are a list of all the Hobby House products with a link to the store:

You have to pop on over to the challenge blog for all the rest of the fabulous inspiration!  I hope you can join in, the winner will receive a £25 voucher to spend at the Hobby House!
