Just back from our late summer holiday to Mallorca to celebrate Hubby's 'big' Birthday. We arrived to dramatic thunderstorms which cleansed the island after 23 weeks of no rain. |
Made an early start one morning and travelled by the old train to Palma. |
A beautiful city, where we visited the Cathedral. |
Other days were spent walking amongst the olive groves...
Meeting some of the locals...
And making special friends of others. |
Eating (too much!) |
And resting. |
A wonderful break with the perfect person...

We returned home to not the greatest of news...
It will change our plans for now and our dreams are back on-hold...
perhaps until next year...

For now I plan to throw myself into: My crafting - I'm booked into several fairs before Christmas.
I have my shop to close-down at the end of November.
And perhaps I'll throw myself into Blogging a bit more again too, to ease the sadness that threatens to invade.

The beach at Soller in Mallorca is a rich hunting ground for sea glass. Hubby and I spent several hours combing the shingle for its treasures.
Having visited Mallorca last year, I went prepared this time with some tiny crafting bottles to fill - I plan to use these in my fairy making. |
Talking of which, here is my latest handmade fairy, which I've called Thimble.
I'll continue to update my crafting blog - More details of Thimble can be found here.

Finally, what could be better than coming home to a continued Indian summer here in the UK and roses blooming in the garden again?
Wishing you a happy week,
