Foote Islands er ei lita gruppe snødekte øyar og fleire skjer, ligg 12 nautiske mil søraust for Cape Leblond på Lavoisier Island i Crystal Sound. Dei vart kartlagde frå flyfoto under Ronne antarktiske forskingsekspedisjon (1947–48) og landmålingar av Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) (1958–59). Dei vart namngjevne av UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee etter Brian L.H. Foote, ein radiomekanikar ved Arthur Harbour (1957) og ein landmålar ved Detaille Island (1958), som gjorde landmålingar i områda kring Crystal Sound.^[1]
