Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is a compilation of classic games from the NES, SNES, Game Boy, Sega Genesis, and Arcade based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. The compilation was developed by Digital Eclipse, including the standard features of their previous retro game compilations.
Gameplay[]
The game includes the 13 games Konami published in the 1980s and 1990s available in both the English and Japanese regional versions. The games come with quality of life features such as save states, rewind and game-specific button mapping. All the console games feature local play with select games including online multiplayer. There is also a Museum feature compiling various pieces of art, game design material and various content connecting to the rest of TMNT media, including galleries of comic book covers and cartoon screenshots.

Notes[]
- The music used for the title screen and menus is reused from the first area of the 2003 cartoon's first video game.
- The intro sequence for the first arcade game, which used a sound clip of the 1987 cartoon's theme song, was altered to use a cover version (which was also used in the Arcade1up cabinet release).
- In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game, all appearances of the Pizza Hut logo were removed.

The original print ad for Radical Rescue, which was edited here to remove Buster Bunny and the two Warner Bros. games.
- Several of the print advertisements included in the gallery, which featured the Turtles games being advertised alongside other Konami games, were altered to remove images or text relating to other companies' games, or licensed games based on properties Konami no longer has the license for (such as Tiny Toon Adventures 2: Montana's Movie Madness and Batman: The Animated Series).
- In the gallery of comic covers for the original Mirage comic series, issues 23-26, 40, and 62 are skipped. Also, some of the early covers displayed are actually taken from their IDW reprints.
- In the gallery of comic covers for Archie's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures comic, issues 32-37 are skipped. Also, the captions given for the first two issues' covers incorrectly state that they were the first comic book appearances for Krang, Bebop, Rocksteady, and General Tragg; the actual comic debut for the characters was in the 3-issue TMNT Adventures mini-series that preceded the ongoing comic.
- In the gallery of screenshots from the 1987 cartoon, the sub-gallery for Season 6 is inexplicably missing the episode "Rock Around the Block", and the first two episodes of the "European Vacation" arc (which premiered on the USA Network while CBS was airing the seventh season, hence why most official episode lists and the DVDs categorize those episodes as part of Season 7) are placed as part of it. As a result, the first two episodes of Seasons 8-10 are mistakenly placed at the end of the sub-galleries for the preceding seasons, and Season 10's sub-gallery only has six images.
