Takahiro Watanabe is a sound supervisor and programmer at Nintendo. He has worked mostly on The Legend of Zelda, Pikmin, and Animal Crossing franchises.

History[]

Initially, Watanabe joined Nintendo EAD in 2002, with his first project being The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, where he produced and voiced sound effects for enemy characters, enemy transformation demo scenes and footstep sounds. In Pikmin 2, he programmed the sound effects and also voiced the Creeping Chrysanthemum.

Since around the Switch era, Watanabe has mostly been a sound supervisor on the Mario and The Legend of Zelda franchises, among other games.
