Sylphs are a summon featured in the Final Fantasy series. In their initial appearance in Final Fantasy IV for the SNES, the group of Sylphs would attack the enemy, steal their HP and deliver it to your party. Other games they've appeared in include Final Fantasy V, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings, and Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon 2. In Final Fantasy V, they can be purchased in Walse. In Revenant Wings, there is only one Sylph rather than a group of them.
In the video games that Sylphs appear in, they greatly resemble faries.
